[EN] Ruperto Chaparro Villafañe tells us about the ancestral life of the river Seytibunna, or Magdalena (refer to Glossary Rio Magdalena). He says that the mother takes the waste that comes from the river and eliminates toxins, territorial and bodily, to turn them into stones and quartz. We interpret this ability of the sea to turn toxins into precious things as a call to collect these objects brought by the currents,  listen to their sounds as precious jewels and keep a trace, imprinted by the Caribbean sun, on fabrics that will join the water imprints from Salvador (BR).

[ES]  Ruperto Chaparro Villafañe nos habla de la vida ancestral del río Seytibunna, o Magdalena (referirse al Glosario Rio Magdalena). Dice que la madre toma los desechos que llegan del río y realiza una eliminación de toxinas, territoriales y corporales, para convertirlos en piedras y cuarzos. Interpretamos esa facultad del mar para hacer de las toxinas cosas preciosas como un llamado a recoger estos objetos traídos por las corrientes,  escuchar sus sonidos como joyas preciosas, y mantener un rastro, impreso por el sol del Caribe, en telas que unirán las imprentas de aguas de Salvador (BR).
